Sunday night at Plaza Civica they held a (for lack of a better description) beauty contest. The contestants were dressed in their finest dresses and gowns. I didn’t get all the contestants photos, but here are a few from the evening. What made the evening more fun was that one of the contestants is a former student from Bill’s English class. They also featured a wonderful trio of opera singers and, of course, a Mariachi group. Enjoy!
