We had the most amazing thunderstorm last night. There was lightning in every direction so I decided to go out and see if I couldn’t capture a few photos. This was the first time I’d ever tried to photograph lightning and I got a few decent shots before it started to pour down rain.

The mountain range behind us was getting a tremendous amount of lightning so I focused in that area. While I managed to get a few photos, most of the lightning was happening behind the mountains. It was truly amazing.

The last photo in this gallery is a photo combination of one of my lightning photos and the main church in Morelia. The church photo was taken in the daytime. How fun!
