Just Another Afternoon in the Jardin
You just never know what you’re going to see in the Jardin of San Miguel. Yesterday afternoon a group of dancers were performing and the costumes were amazing.

Last night Bill and I walked up to Plaza Civica to see the Folklória dancers. This is Independence weekend in San Miguel so there were lots of people in the plaza for the show. I have to say that Folklória is one of my favorite things to watch. Last night the lighting wasn’t great, but the dancers were wonderful so I tried my best to get a few nice photos.
Bill and I are enjoying the city of Guadalajara. We’ve met some wonderful people and enjoyed the city sights. Here are just a few photos from the our trip. Enjoy!
Las Bestias Danzan (Dance of the Beasts) was held in the El Jardin last night. Unfortunately, they didn’t get started until late and there was no light. Oh, well, these figures are really fun to watch as they dance around the plaza. Here are a few photos from the evening. Enjoy!
I’m still going through my photos from the La Alborada parade last Sunday. Here are a few more photos I like. Most of these photos came from when the dancers were walking up to the beginning of the parade. Enjoy!
I attended the La Alborada parade this morning. If you ever want to visit San MIguel de Allende, be sure to come here during La Alborada. The weekend-long celebration is really something to see—including this wonderful parade with so many different groups od dancers being represented. I managed to shoot over 1,100 photos of the parade and I’m still going through them. I’s gonna take some time to go through
Last night (Friday) the San Miguel de Allende Ballet Folkloria performed at the Peralta Theater. We were not disappointed. The show was colorful and very, very festive. These dancers are really something to behold and it was a fantastic evening. Here are a few photos from the night. Enjoy!

I walked into Centro this morning to do some shopping. This weekend is the St. Michael’s celebration. They’ve had parades and fireworks all weekend, but I thought the festivities were finished. Wrong! They had another parade this morning. I didn’t have my camera, but I managed to get some video on my phone. Enjoy!
