Views from the House in San Miguel de Allende
I just wanted to share the views from our house in San Miguel de Allende. We overlook La Presa de Allende to the west and these gorgeous green mountains are directly behind the house to the east. Enjoy!

We’ve had several thunderstorms the past couple of days and the forecast is for more so I thought I go around the house and snap some photos of all the beautiful flowers that grow on the property. Enjoy!
Bill and I drove into town last night for dinner. After dinner we walked up to the El Jardin to watch a small parade.
Celebrating Independence Day in SMA is a big deal. According to history, Allende entered SMA and went to Narcisco de la Canal’s home to ask him to hand over the city to the insurgents. De la Canal refused to open the door the first time so Allende went to former city hall building and demanded the Spanish hand over the village. Allende went back to Canal’s home. Allende convinced de
Bill and I went into town on Friday night for the beginning of the Independence celebration. We went to El Jardin and it was packed with people so we went to a little piano bar, Johnny’s, away from the crowd and listened to some live music. It was a fun little place and just a hole-in-the-wall. We stayed until about 10pm and tried to catch a cab, but most of
This morning Bill and I finally got into el centro. We had breakfast with Barbara (our guardian angel of Mexico) and her friend, Nora. While we were there we met some caballeros preparing for a festival this afternoon. The town is decorated with green, red and white Mexican flags on every street. This weekend is the big celebration so I hope to get some more photos of the festivities. On

We rode north to Redding, CA and then cruised the coast through No. California, Oregon and Washington. Here are a few photos from the trip. Enjoy!
Here are some random photos of our family—Simon, Cali, Rhett, Gatsby and Juliet. They’re always fun to photograph—especially when they’re playing in the snow. Enjoy!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any new photos. Honestly, I haven’t even picked up the camera in months so I thought I’d get a few photos of the kids in their new home. Cali, Rhett and Gatsby are having fun in their new surroundings. Rhett, of course, has already managed to fall in the pool, but managed to get himself out—immediately! All-and-all, they seem to be quite happy in
