It that time of year. It’s time for monarch butterflies to migrate to Michoacán, Mexico. I’ve had the extreme pleasure of witnessing this extraordinary event the last two years, but with COVID-19 this year I’m not sure if people will be able to visit the butterflies. We just got back from a wonderful trip to Morelia and the monarch sanctuary in Michoacán. We stayed one night in Morelia and it’s a beautiful vibrant city. Although there weren’t as many monarchs as last year, it was still a fantastic privilege to see one of the world’s natural wonders.
