Gringo | San Miguel de Allende

On this last trip to San Miguel de Allende, I met up with our friend Kathy in Leon. She was transporting a new Yorkie named Gringo to her friends, Jackie and Patrick, in SMA. 2018 Cathedral City LGBTQ Days Celebration

Easter weekend in Cathedral City includes the LGBT Days celebration in downtown Cathedral City. One of the premier events is the bed race. This year in the 4th annual bed race and it featured the Cathedral City fire and police departments, Del Shores and Ann Walker (of Sordid Lives fame), the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and College of the Desert. Dia de Los Meurtos

Let the party begin. This evening Bill and I went to Fabrica Aurora for one of the first of many parties celebrating Dia de Los Muertos. We’re told this is sort of a dress rehearsal for the big celebration later next week. There were quite a few folks in costume and I tried to get a few fun photos which wasn’t easy with all the people around. Enjoy!

Cañada de la Virgen

Yesterday, Bill and I visited Cañada de la Virgen which is a pyramid located about 40 minutes southeast of San Miguel de Allende. It was really something to see.
